50th anniversary Rolex Submariner Ref 16610LV is better known to collectors as the Rolex Kermit because of the green aluminum bezel. This model marked the introduction of the Maxi Dial with larger markers and fatter hands.
This is an early F series anniversary Kermit model which is the more traditional sized Oyster case and by far more collectible than the contemporary models.
The bezel insert is aluminum, which over time will fade and age, each watch developing its own unique character.
