This is one of the iconic, yet less commonly seen Patek Philippe Calatravas from their golden age of watchmaking in the 1950s. Highlights of this model are the engraved line around the circumference of the case and the lugs, oversized original winding crown, and the thick 9mm stepped case that presents the watch larger than its nominal case size of 34 mm. This watch is all about the design details.
The case is in good condition with some hairlines consistent with age. There is a good deep hallmark under one of the lugs. The champagne colored dial is perfect and spotless with raised enamel. The gold lapped indexes are similarly in excellent condition.
