Omega Ref Cal 33.3 Stainless Steel Chrono Crica 1944, Rare 37mm Case
Omega Ref Cal 33.3 Stainless Steel Chrono Crica 1944, Rare 37mm Case
This is an example of the famed Omega Caliber 33.3 from 1944 in a rare and astonishing condition. The case and dial are in excellent original form. The movement is a Lemania based chronograph that was used by a number of manufacturers, but as finished by Omega and re-designated Cal 33.3 it became one of the most celebrated chronograph movements of the early 20th century.
The two tone, multi-scale, multi-color dial is untouched and remains vibrant and exquisite to this day. The Arabic numerals are gilt printed.
The lugs and case appear strong and are probably never repolished.
Case Size: 37 mm
Movement: Ref 33.3, 17 jewels, 18,000 vph
