This watch pays homage to the first Speedmaster model, the reference CK 2915-1 from 1957. The original watch was also powered by the Omega Calibre 321 movement which was developed in 1946 by Albert Piguet of Lemania. Omega’s Parent company, Société Suisse pour l'Industrie Horlogère, (SSIH), owned the highly respected chronograph producer Lemania dating back to 1932.
The Speedmaster CK2915 model established the hallmark 12-hour, triple register chronograph layout, and simple contrast index markers. Like the original watch this tribute model Omega’s distinctive “broad arrow” handset.

The Case is made of an exclusive white gold alloy known as 18 Canopus Gold. The case has a timeless and versatile diameter of 38.6 mm.
The dial is made of Onyx and each watch comes with a Precious Stone Certificate. A vintage OMEGA logo, including a historical oval “O”, has been applied to the black onyx dial, which also features 18k white gold hands and indexes.
The famous Speedmaster tachometer bezel is filled with black Grand Feu enamel, with the famous dot over nine (DON) and dot diagonal to seventy.
