A. Lange & Sohne 1815 Rattrapante Platinum Homage to F.A Lange, 425.025 was introduced in 2022 and is limited to 200 pieces. The watch is only available to preferred customers of A. Lange & Sohne by custom order. There is no MSRP for the watch, because of the bespoke production but it was last quoted at 159,000 Euro.
This masterpiece is the only split-second chronograph from Lange without an additional complication, allowing it to be made only 12.6 mm thick and be worn very comfortably on the wrist. Compared to Lange's double-split, Zeitwerk or perpetual chronographs, this watch wears more like a Patek Philippe.
The Rattrapante comes in a platinum case, an argenté-coloured dial crafted from solid silver, with a matching platinum tang buckle.
The manual wind caliber L101.2 movement features 365 parts, 36 jewels, 58-hour power reserve, 21,600 semi-oscillations per hour.
The case is water resistant to 3 atm.
The watch is unused without any signs of wear to the watch or strap. Comes complete with box, booklets, polishing cloth and new strap.
