Universal Genève, Reference 22410, large stainless steel chronograph, 1940.
This is a rare and oversized UG chrono with an attractive and original black galvanic dial, turning tropical.
The spectacular dial is gilt printed and is of the multi-scale “snail” variety. These dials are expensive to make and the one on this watch is impeccable.
Beautiful and original syringe type hands.
Case: large 38 mm stainless steel, with inscription on the back.
Case is in excellent condition with case number clearly visible on the back.
Movement Caliber: UG cal. 285 mechanical, 17 jewels, 18,000 vph
