This is an excellent example of the iconic Patek Ref 3940, perpetual calendar in platinum with an opaline silver dial. The windows have indications of hours, minutes, am/pm, day, date, leap year, and phases of the moon. The watch runs on the landmark ultra-slim caliber 240Q automatic with a planetary rotor which at the time revolutionized the watch world and saved Patek Philippe from the onslaught of quartz watches.
This excellent example comes in an extremely well preserved case, with good hallmarks under the lugs, original deployant buckle, winding box and an Extract from the Patek Philippe Archives confirming the production of this watch in 1999.
