This is a fine and rare stainless steel Patek amagnetic ref 3417 (second series dial) manufactured by Patek Philippe, Genève circa 1969.
The watch was introduced as Patek’s version of the Rolex Milgaus and JLC Geophysic as a tool for scientists and explorers. This example is fitted with the caliber 27 AM 400 movement, 18 jewels, “Gyromax” balance, free-sprung self-compensating Breguet overcoil hairspring, 19,800 vibrations per hour.
The dial is perfect with original white gold markers and raised enamel signature. This watch comes complete with the original soft iron dust cap. The circular water-resistant screw-in case back, stainless steel Patek Philippe buckle, case, dial and movement are all signed. The watch comes with a detailed service receipt (regulated and lubricated) from Patek Philippe Geneva in 2010. 35.5mm diam.
