Patek Philippe Ref 2525/1R MINT

$25,000.00

This beautiful Patek Philippe Ref 2525/1R is characterized by its stepped case, fluted lugs, and art deco hour markers. The model was in production for a short time from 1952 until 1962, and it features a manual winding 10-200 movement. This model was produced mostly in yellow gold, and the rose and white gold variations are particularly rare.

With its stepped bezel and lugs, and fancy markers this model offers additional elegance and refinement over the other Calatrava references of the time. The 36mm case is timeless and versatile.

This wonderfully preserved rose gold reference 2525/1R was recently serviced in Geneva by Patek’s vintage department, and is still sealed and under warranty. As detailed in the service invoice, care was taken not to do any cosmetic work on this watch because the lugs showcase beautiful fluting, and the stepped case remains defined and crisp. There is a strong hallmark visible on one of the lugs, and the dial presented in untouched condition, with crisp and thick hard enamel graphics.

The case features a screw-on waterproof back which is covered by the service sticker.
