H. Moser & Cie, a very rare, oversized stainless steel chronograph, w/ black lacquer gilt printed dial, 1945
The present chronograph by H. Moser & Cie is an incredibly well-preserved specimen. It is one of a kind.
Oversized 38.5 mm case features a stepped bezel and a beautiful glossy black dial. The gilt printing of the multi scale “snail” dial remains totally perfect. The quality of workmanship is obvious as the intricate lettering remains very crisp in appearance with hardly any signs of aging.
This timepiece is similar to, but in fact much rarer than the better known Longines “Tre Tacche” Cal 13zn of the same era.
The stepped case too is preserved in excellent condition with crisp edges and defined thick lugs and perfectly legible serial numbers.
Manufacture grade 13″ movement with pump pushers. Original oversized Crown, Fixed lug bars.
