Breguet Empire Number 1131 Circa 1940s, Rare in 35 mm Case, All Original Unpolished

Easily the most beautiful watch in my collection: Breguet Empire No 1131 Circa 1940s.  Manufacture grade manual wind. 35mm

Fans of vintage Patek and Breguet know how rare these calatrava style Breguets are from the period, however to find one in a contemporary 35mm case is impossible.  That’s because most were made in 32-33mm cases. Original everything including the vintage buckle.

I was inspired to have ABP Paris make a custom stingray strap for this watch, which IMHO works with it perfectly.
