A. Lange & Söhne Saxonia, White Dial, Blued Steel Hands Mint
$28,500.00
This is a very rare and elegant 18K white gold Saxonia produced in 2001. This model was one of the original references that A. Lange & Söhne introduced in the company’s 1996 revival. It is exceedingly difficult to find an original Saxonia model with the combination of silver white dial and blued hands in such mint condition.
We think when the history of Lange is written, this model will be as significant to Lange as reference 96 is to Patek Philippe, except that the original Saxonia was produced in far fewer numbers for a more limited time. Both models share the same stylish yet completely functional Bauhaus design.
Dial with applied hour and minute markers, subsidiary seconds, grande date aperture. Movement is 30 jewel L943.1 manual wind signed A. Lange & Sohne Glashutte in Sachsen, made in Germany, numbered, calibre L941.3.
Exhibition case back, signed A. Lange & Sohne,18K hallmarks and numbered, original crown; date change pusher, case diameter measures approx. 34mm.
Black crocodile strap with original 18K solid white gold deployant buckle. Note the solid white gold deployant buckle included with watch is a $3,500 add-on.
