A. Lange & Söhne Saxonia 105.035 Platinum “Darth” Extremely Rare

$45,000.00

This is the ultra rare platinum Saxonia produced in 2001. This model was one of the original references that A. Lange & Söhne introduced in the company’s 1996 revival.

It is vitually impossible to find the original Saxonia model with the combination of black dial with blacked out dates, so called “Darth” anymore.

We think when the history of Lange is written, the original Saxonia model will be as significant to Lange as reference 96 is to Patek Philippe, except that the Saxonia was produced in far fewer numbers for a more limited time. Both models share the same stylish yet completely functional Bauhaus design.

Dial with applied hour and minute markers, subsidiary seconds, grande date aperture. Movement is 30 jewel L943.1 manual wind signed A. Lange & Sohne Glashutte in Sachsen, made in Germany, numbered, calibre L941.3.

Exhibition case back, signed A. Lange & Sohne, hallmarks and numbered, original crown; date change pusher, case diameter measures approx. 34mm.

Original case and dial in mint condition appear never polished. Complete with inner/outer boxes and papers.
